Hayley and Lee recently visited Barnsley Foodbank, where they met with Georgina and Clive to donate food, clothing and essential toiletries. During their visit, they also took the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work the charity does to support local people facing hardship, in partnership with The Trussell Trust.

Georgina shared how Barnsley Foodbank provides emergency food parcels that are nutritionally balanced, alongside practical advice and support. Referrals come from a network of more than 60 local organisations, helping ensure people experiencing crisis receive the assistance they need.

From April 2024 to April 2025, Barnsley Foodbank provided support to 10,530 people, including 3,185 children. These figures highlight the growing demand for their services and the vital role they continue to play within the Barnsley community.
