BONDED SEALS

The bonded seal consists of a metallic insert with a vulcanized rubber compound profile which is bonded to the internal diameter.  This innovative design is crafted to withstand both pressure and vibrations, making it suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature situations where metal washers are unsuitable.  Bonded seals are adaptable and can be applied in various fluid transfer contexts, such as fuel systems, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.

  • Metal-Rubber Seals for Flange Sealing in applications using gas or liquids, up to 2000 bars
  • Metal Washer: many materials and anticorrosive surface coatings
  • Large range of compounds for Aerospace and Military Approvals and Specifications

A large range of bonded seals is dedicated to the aerospace market and its regulations (EN 9100).  Bonded Seals are manufactured according to international standards such as AGS, NSA, ASNA etc.

As of September 20th 2024, UK / EU Reach committee have proceeded to a vote to reconduct the use of Cadmium plating (as specified by AGS1186) for a review period of 12 years. Therefore we can continue to deliver to our customers, AGS1186-xx parts.

However we are able to supply more sustainable and healthier plating options if required but these cannot be supplied under the AGS1186 part numbers.
