Faces manufactured to suit raised face flanges or ring type joint flanges. Plate Flanges and Blanks Profile cut flanges from plate to British, European, American and Japanese standards.

Gasket Insertion Tool
The new KLINGER Gasket Insertion Tool (KGIT) allows safe and precise insertion of a RTJ (Ring Type Joint) between two flanges, allowing a safer, easier and faster fitting process with minimal need for re-visiting.
The KGIT decreases the risk of injury to divers’ hands and fingers as the engineered profile is designed to locate accurately within the lower bolts of the flange, ensuring the gasket sits correctly in the groove.
With well positioned holes designed to accommodate standard subsea tooling, the KGIT aids transportation and fitting. Flange alignment tools can be left in the flange as the gasket is fitted minimising movement of the flanges ensuring there is no ‘bruising’ or ‘pinching’ to the gasket.
The KGIT offers improved flange make up times and increased safety. The shape of the tool also prevents the handle from rotating in front of the studbolt holes, ensuring the gasket doesn’t need to be repositioned to add the remaining bolts.
Once installation is complete, the handle of the KGIT can be easily broken off and retained for records. After a period of time, the KGIT corrodes away due to a cathodic reaction, as a result of immersion in salt water.
Hydraulic Seals
O-ringsKLINGER supply O-rings in a wide range of materials to standard sizes or specially sized to meet the customer’s requirements. O-rings can also be supplied as joined o-rings or as cord.
The types of rubbers include Nitrile, Neoprene, Silicone, Viton, EPDM and Kalrez and also plastics such PTFE and PEEK.
Lip seals
KLINGER supply a comprehensive range of hydraulic and pneumatic lip seals for piston, rod and rotary shaft applications.
The seals can be manufactured in standard sizes or can be tailored to suit any application. A full range of high performance elastomer or plastics are available but we are also able to supply engineered special materials to meet customer requirements. Individual profiles up to 600 mm in diameter can also be manufactured. The correct choice of seal profile and material is paramount to the successful operation of the Lip Seals.
Spray Shields
With increasing attention to the environment, prevention of leaks or flange joints has become an important focus of attention for the gasket industry.
KLINGER sees this problem and already offers personalised support in advance (correct material selection, assembly, inspection, training, etc.) to prevent or resolve problems later.
In many applications, flange connections such as aggressive chemicals, thermal oils or steam flowing under high pressure can be dangerous. These are the “critical flange connections”, which can cause disastrous consequences.
Stud Bolts
KLINGER supply the petrochemical industry with many different types of bolting. From standard to bespoke stud bolts. Ranging from ¼” to 3” diameter. KLINGER can also supply forged bolts to suit your requirements in all material grades. Different coatings can be specified including PTFE, Zinc or Galvanised. Other coatings are available on request.
